ROGER MILLER, Photographer, Publisher, Teacher
Roger Miller has been a commercial photographer and book publisher for the more than 40 years. His assignments have taken him around the world 18 times. He is a major source of stock photography in the Mid-Atlantic region with more than 650,000 slides in his files and five terabytes of digital files.
He has created 38 photography books to date. He created the first full-color books on Baltimore, Annapolis and the State of Maryland. To date he has sold more than 186,000 books. Roger has been on all five TV stations talking about his books. He has had a full page in the Sun on his first book. He was one of six photographers that had a major impact in the 20th Century featured in an MPT movie called “Images of Maryland 1900 to 2000.”
With experience in a broad range of photography, Roger specializes in everything from romantic scenic landscapes to studio portraits and product photography. He has worked with numerous commercial clients including Baltimore Aircoil Company, Northrop Grumman, Maryland Port Administration, AirMall (BAA USA), Battelle, Raytheon Company, EADS North America, Beretta, Meggitt Defense Systems and Textron Systems. Roger is sharing his experience in Photography Workshops in Baltimore, Annapolis and the world.
Roger’s photography is displayed in numerous commercial installations. These locations include BWI Airport, Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Homer Gudelsky Building at UMAB, numerous buildings at UMBC, Jaguar Land Rover Annapolis showrooms and offices, the White Marsh Professional Center and numerous legal and professional offices.
